The (in)famous Danny Ledonne is in Montreal for a few days, filming for his game documentary. I’ll be hooking up with him Monday evening for an interview, after he spends the afternoon filming with students involved in the Dawson school shooting.
To many’s surprise, Danny is first and foremost a film maker. And, he is amazingly articulate about art, expression and the power of games. I’m still kicking myself for having missed the GDC roundtable where he lit up the room in discussion with a Columbine survivor.
I’m very much looking forward to meeting Danny and chatting with him. My sense is that his film will be much “deeper” than how the Moral Kombat trailer is coming across…
